It can be defined as a set of different elements. A set of systems of live. Knowledge is one of the most important parts o f culture knowledge in artistic, scientific and industrial developement. Businesses are directly influenced by culture; so, knowledge is power. And in businesses is important that before starting a negotiation with a foreign country you know a little of his history. For exemple: If negotiation is in Germany you should not talk about the second world war and nazis. Or if it’s in France, it would be better not to say that spanish wine or cheese is the best in the world. Or it would be good to know that musulmans don’t drink alcohol. Altought this, cultural differences should not be a problem if you know how to pick them. Companies know about this and for this reason big multinationals have adapted it’s product depending the region on the world it has to be sold in. Like Coca-Cola has done: she has different tastes arround the world so, sweedish coca-cola taste is no t the same as the USA one. The ethics of companies is very important. Investing in enviromental issues has become a great point to earn in marketing terms. In some parts of the worls, like scandinavians countries, ethic politics influences a lot to companies. All this had been external aspects, but what abou internal ones? We can start divinding internal aspect between dos other subgroups, human resources of the other company and innovation. Cultures, because its fluent relationship, are very influenced ones by others. There are some cultural questions in Europe: • Individualism. Too much potenced in Europe • Direct vs indirect. In Europe is better to go streght to the point oppositly from libano’s typically indirectlism. • Jerarquie. There are countries like Japan or Asian countries in general, where everyone knows perfectly which is his place in the company and its responsabilities which are very relevant. Some others, like europe countries, are more democratic. • Law. If you know a lillte the law of the countri you are going to negotiate in, it would significate more knowledge which is the same as more power. It should be said that in Europe, there’s no european identity. EU, at this moment, is the first economic power of the world. The European Union was created because of covering the free trade or the freedom of movement of goods, capitals (investements) and people.
